How to push negative search results down: 4 steps to bury them

In a perfect world, we’d be able to remove all the unfair, outdated, and negative search results about ourselves. In reality, most content is here to stay except in special circumstances. Remove what you can, but creating your own positive content to suppress the negatives is a great way to control your image and improve your search results. So, how do you push negative search results down?

Note that if you’re looking to disappear from the web, this isn’t the solution for you. You’ll be creating more content about you, but you’ll be tipping the balance from negative to positive.

Step 1:  Create and manage public profiles for yourself

Certain sites consistently appear high in the search results. By simply creating a profile on them with your name and a bit of identifying information, you can suppress negative results. Make sure that you set your privacy settings to be publicly viewed, and only post content that you’re absolutely sure you won’t regret later.  Here’s a list of sites to use:

If you can’t delete something bad, bury it with something good.

Step 2:  Comment publicly in news articles, forums, and social media

Madonna reference: hey, hey, hey, hey.

You can also use your real name to register on news websites and comment on articles, although these types of posts don’t tend to rank as highly as those on the sites listed above.  If you’re prepared for a little self-censorship, posting under your real name can be a smart strategy for selling yourself.  Knowing that anything you say online may show up when someone Googles you, use your postings to your advantage:  post intelligent, grammatically-correct, spell-checked, well-reasoned content.  Express yourself in the field in which you want to become established.

Step 3:  Link Amongst your Various Sites

Link between your sites to make them all rank higher.

One of the ways that Google determines a site’s rank in search results is by analyzing how many times other sites link to it. You can get your content to rise by linking it to itself. For example, create a twitter account, connect that to your formspring account, connect both of those to your Facebook page, and link to all of them on your Blogger page. Of course, the more you use your accounts and interact with other people, the more likely they are to link to your content, which drives your results even higher.

Step 4:  Take back negative keywords

If a search for your name is generally positive, but including a particular keyword brings up negative or unwanted results, try to reclaim that term. Let’s say that a search for “John Doe” is positive, but “John Doe”+ “State College” brings up negative results. John Doe should start including the phrase “State College” in his positive content creation in order to associate it with his good reputation.

If you google my name there is one negative article on the 1st page. Thats it, I wish there were a way to get rid of it. I’ve contacted the news paper to no avail. So if you could do it please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Craig

Sorry to hear you’re dealing with that, Craig. We used to offer custom removal services like you’re looking for, but it ended up being simply impossible without going into the realm of legal services, which we don’t do. That’s why we took what we know and posted it on our blog, like on the post you’re seeing above. If the article is inaccurate or untrue in some way, I’d suggest hiring a defamation lawyer. Otherwise, stick to the do-it-yourself tips above to bury that result. It may take some work, but it’s not impossible. I’ve also just heard about a site called BrandYourself.com that says it can help you with it. Best of luck, Craig.

    • This is frustrating; I can relate! Try googling/binging Blair Pettrey!
Bing seems to work with my attempts and efforts; but no matter what I do, have others do, etc Google will not change!

Michael. I have been bullied for a year and driven OUT OF BUSINESS by a conniving mother of a bride! She calls me and texts me and threatens to kill me repeatedly. I’ve changed my number three times.she goes into detail on how she’s going to take her time and enjoy every minute of iKilling me Why? She paid a deposit, used my services and contacts, then fired me. That’s it. Wanted her 1500 back after four months of work. She won’t go to court like a normal person because her contract states NO refunds loud and clear. I’m 71 years old and tired of the lies and how it has affected my life and health. To have to endure this bullying certainly makes it clear to me how young people feel when bullies can get away with this kind of unfair game play. I have no money to hire a lawyer or believe me I would have !!

Industry Secrets to Managing Your Own Online Reputation that the Big Companies Don’t Want You to Know!

      By the team at RepWarrior.com
      October 2, 2015

Online personal and business reputation management is a growing problem that will only get worse, as more and more people use Google searches to do background research on people and companies they interact with. Big reputation management companies charge thousands, and sometimes tens of thousands of dollars to manage their client’s online reputations. Many of these companies are met with limited or no success, as the tactics and strategies they employ are at best shallow, and at worse detrimental.

RepWarrior.com gets contacted by clients everyday that have had a bad experience with another online reputation management company. The common complaint is that the negative stories and reviews they paid these companies to suppress are usually in the exact same place as when they started, and the only difference is that these clients have spent a lot of money to get absolutely no results.

      Our Analysis of the Problem

When we do an analysis on why these other companies are not able to achieve the results they promise their clients we find some common denominators. The most frequent tactic that these other companies normally use is to build ‘shallow’ and non-authentic websites that bring absolutely no value to the web. These non-sites are usually just one or two pages deep with content obviously written by a ‘content spinning’ program (an article rewriter), or by someone presumably working for a dollar or two a day in a third world country. Google likes websites, and content in particular, that bring “added value to the Web” as they have stated over and over again. What these companies are doing is creating sites that are essentially worthless in a never-ending quest to try and game the system. This does not work anymore, and it never really has.

With the release of Google’s latest algorithm updates, namely Panda, Penguin and Hummingbird, these types of websites are almost guaranteed to be penalized and devalued. Once this happens, it is near impossible to get them to rank highly.

Another issue with creating these types of shallow and non-authentic sites is that it can cause confusion in people doing the searching. Imagine if you will, stumbling upon several seemingly different websites with poorly worded, shallow content that all look like amateurs created them. What would you think? Would you be confused as to why someone wouldn’t take the time to create a real website that will actually keep someone’s interest for more than a few seconds before they click away, never to return?

The same problem seems to occur with these companies other tactics in regards to creating blogs, social media and directory listings. Mostly these “digital assets” (and we use this term very loosely here) are created in much the same way, and by their very nature will cause the same kind of confusion and skepticism that shallow websites will cause.

The simple truth is that these are exactly the types of tactics the biggest companies in the reputation management space are employing, while they are making millions of dollars charging people for this shoddy service.

The Dirty Secret of the Online Reputation Management Industry

The dirty secret in the reputation management industry is if you do a Google search under reviews of the biggest reputation management companies names you will find horror story after horror story about their client’s experiences with them.

At RepWarrior.com we employ a series of proprietary, highly effective tactics and strategies to achieve success in managing the personal and business reputations of our clients. There is a specific formula that we use that will almost guarantee the results you’re looking for. For the first time ever we are sharing this information with others.

      The essence of our overall strategy (the meta-strategy) can be described in two main parts;

Meta-strategy #1 – Create several new, authentic digital assets including websites, blogs, social media accounts, stories and other types of content, press releases, and directory listings. Build SEO best practices into these digital assets. Optimize everything for the search terms you have identified.

Meta-strategy #2 – Push everything out to the Web and position your digital assets so they can be shared, talked about and reshared. Push content out in a way that earns valuable backlinks pointing at the digital assets, and gain the elusive “link juice” that everyone talks about.

Here are the series of steps to take that are explained in more detail. If you follow these instructions you will have success in managing your own online reputation. Rather than write a whole book here, we have distilled the steps down to the key pieces of information that you will need to manage your own online reputation. If you need further clarification on anything you can always Google the key terms for more information.

The Steps to Manage Your Own Online Reputation

Step #1 – Create several new, authentic ‘digital assets’ for yourself or your business, including building new websites using the ‘exact match name (EMD)’ or personalized URL’s if your name is not available. Only use best practice SEO techniques (no ‘Black Hat’) for all of the digital assets and new sites you create, so they will rank for the search terms that have been identified. Submit those sites using ‘Webmaster Tools’ to Google, Bing and other search engines for indexing when finished. The best platform we have found to build new websites for beginners is WordPress. WordPress is very easy to learn and there are tons of videos online that you can watch, and learn how to build high-quality websites in just a few hours.

Step #2 – Create one or more blogs for yourself or your business using the exact match name. Link blogs back and forth to each other and to the main websites, and other digital assets that you create. Again, WordPress is the best platform for designing blogs. You can learn how to do this in just a few hours.

Step #3 – Open social media accounts for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and others using your exact name if possible, and fully build out and optimize their content and profiles. It is far more important to have fully built out and optimized social media accounts with a few friends than it is to have shallow, non-authentic (place holder) social media accounts with a ton of friends.

Step #4 – Publish favorable content on other blogs, social media websites, etc. that are selected for ranking strength and relevance to your situation. It’s easy to find places to publish content. You just have to look around.

Step #5 – Publish favorable content on highly visible third party sites that are selected for ranking strength and relevance to your situation. Again, it is fairly easy to find these types of sites where third party content can be published for free.

Step #6 – Submit listings for your name or the name of your business to local and national directories and industry / trade publications, and fully build out and optimize those listings and profiles.

Step #7 – Sometimes you can create a Wikipedia page for yourself or your business. Work carefully within the Wikipedia guidelines so your page gets accepted. You shouldn’t be the one to create the Wiki page itself, as Wiki will consider this a conflict of interest. Create the Wiki page under a different name or have someone else do it for you. Watch out for Wiki pages that take a promotional tone. Read up on their guidelines and follow them. Monitor the Wiki page to guard against other people posting undesired content, and take steps to ensure this content is deleted quickly.

Where the Real Magic Starts to Happen

Step #8 – Push positive content out to the web using paid and unpaid ‘content syndication’ services. This is where the real magic starts to happen. In order for any reputation management strategy to be effective, and in order for digital assets to rank highly, a number of high-quality, high ‘domain authority’ backlinks need to be earned for each of the new digital assets. Without this part of the formula, there is no point in creating digital assets, as they will never rank highly. RepWarrior.com has developed a proprietary formula for this from over a decade of SEO and web design experience. There are plenty of good places to push out content using syndication services. Again, just do a Google search and start deciding which ones to use that fit your niche.

Step #9 – When applicable, push out content in the form of press releases using paid and unpaid syndication services. There are many major websites and news agencies that will publish a well-written and interesting press release. They will usually allow you to have a link pointing back to your main digital assets. Viola! You now have some great link juice!

Step #10 – When applicable, publish photos in content and fully optimize photos so they show up at the top of a Google Image Search. Work to ensure that links from photos are pointing to favorable content.

Step #11 – When a client has online negative review issues, we work with their administrative staff to solicit positive reviews and testimonials from customers, and have those published on review sites and other relevant places. RepWarrior.com also tracks online reviews of our client’s businesses, products or services to make sure that every potential threat to their reputation is addressed in a timely manner. You can do the same for your business, product or service.

Step #12 – Only use SEO ‘white hat’ best practices, and always fully optimize all digital assets and content that you create to ensure consistent, highly favorable search rankings.

Step #13 – Publish content that is professional and interesting to read. Remember, you want to add additional value to the Web. This will make Google very happy! Review all content for accuracy before it is published to the Web.

Step #14 – Publish content gradually, in a natural pattern that will influence search results without getting penalized by Google’s algorithms. This step is very important. Do not publish all your content at once, and do not setup and submit all your digital assets at the same time. Take a few months to build, submit and push everything out. You don’t want to look like you are trying to ‘game’ the system.

Step #15 – It’s often necessary to beef up privacy settings on all social media that are currently used.

Step #16 – Work to delete all possible personal and negative information from Spokeo.com, BeenVerified.com, and other ‘background check’ and ‘people search’ sites. You can usually get things deleted off these sites. Go to each site and look around for a link to remove submissions. This is easier than it might sound.

If you follow these steps according to the way that we recommend, then you will be met with almost guaranteed success in managing your own online reputation.

RepWarrior employs the only type of strategy that can work for burying negative content. Has anyone challenged Google on the way they push negative information in their results? They seem to post “juicy” or negative results on the first page for some reason. Just wondering if anyone has successfully challenged Google in court or petition. Great article, thanks for the tips.

    • Sarah Downey says:

It’s not really Google’s fault: it’s people’s. People tend to be more interested in juicy, gossipy, often negative headlines, and they’re more likely to click and read them. That means they get more page views, which means they rank more highly in Google’s search results. Google isn’t deciding that negative headlines should be higher: it’s just following an algorithm largely decided by human interest. It’s just a (pretty sad) fact about people that we’re inclined to check out the negative stuff–someone getting arrested or getting naked is more interesting than that same person volunteering for charity or getting a diploma, and our click behavior backs that up. In the future, it’ll be more important than ever to keep an open mind, remember that everyone makes mistakes, and try not to judge someone on an online first impression.

  • Steve says:

I am convinced the internet is evil. Google my name and the first result portrays me as a sex offender because some jerk used an anonymizer to slander people. I am so happy about this because i am the only person in the country with my first and last name. That is so cool how this system is set up. You can even post comments in someone else’s name. And the best part is, you can act like this with absolutely no repercussions. So the only people who pay for it are the victims. And the demented authors of this stuff get to laugh. Where else but the internet can you get away with this. The cyber division of the FBI said not to worry about it because the internet is like a big bathroom wall. Nice answer only what bathroom wall is visible to the whole world? The internet. That’s which one. I hope the anonymous author of this stuff dies a slow torturous death. Sometimes think this world is set up to protect dirtbags.

    • ladybug says:

My son is also plastered all over the Internet with and is portrayed in a negative way. He is labeled a sex offender. I know there is a few sites and organizations that are trying to change the registry. If that helps at all WAR (women against regisrty) and RSOL ( Reform Sex Offender Laws) are fighting to make real changes. Bear in mind we are all more effective in numbers. See about joining and perhaps getting others to join in changing the laws and perceptions of sex offender labeling.
Internet articles are a tougher fight, let me know if you came up with anything.

the suggestions above do work and in time you can get your name fairly clean 3 to 5 pages deep on google. It takes time and effort…period. I work as an executive at the Camelback Group, an online public relations firm, we do our best for people…the bottom line is – it takes work and work takes time – that’s why hiring a company to do it and manage it makes sense for some people.

    • Joanne Hull says:

      Hi,
I have worked hard over 15-20 years building a great profile and steady business, writing two published books, being on TV every month and helping thousands of people and their pets, only around 5-7 years ago my life was falling apart personally and about 4 years ago it came to a head and I had a complete personal breakdown, which then obviously affected my work, keeping up with life and even just being able to function was almost impossible.
I let some people down, not on purpose, but they went out of their way to attack, make up stuff, spread lies which didnt help, it just made me even more emotionally affected and unable to function.

The breakdown was brutal, I ended up penniless and at the local food bank at my lowest point.
With sheer determination, and help from family, I have very slowly managed over the past year to rebuild and regain strength.

I am doing well with building my profile and my google search is good apart from this ONE site, I just can’t seem to skake it off, the comments are from people I honestly don’t know, well I say that loosly, because 4 of them are from people I do know or have known who want revenge, an ex, an ex employer who was jealous when I moved on and 2 stalkers who are out to ruin me, the rest I have absolutely no idea who they are. They talk like they knw me, they have talked lies and people have commented and agreed with them, its so hurtful.

I have since tried to contact all involved, but they just won’t stop, it seems like their mission to ruin me.

The comments are NOT true, the scinarios they put me in are also not true, yet people read them and believe every word.
These people do not realise how they are affecting someones life, making their health and mental state suffer, I lost everything due to the upset, and health problems.

I am a good person, I have helped thousands, I just wish I could remove the site who have a witch hunt out for me. Or at the very least knock it so far down google it would be worthless for people to read.

I can’t afford a professional to help me, but I am willing to trade services with someone if they are interested or links, I have a strong following. Any ideas?

I honestly think if it is something that can ruin your reputation that you have spent absolutely years building and do so much good work, google should allow you to remove it or they should remove it somehow. The courts should force site owners to remove comments that affect someone health. There are a lot of sites to help children which are great, but what about adults, who lose their businesses, self esteem and lives through adult to adult bullying online?

Thank fully, I am now ok apart from this one site….I will never give up until it is removed or at least pushed down google.

  • I think it’s a shame. One erroneous comment, review etc. can ruin someones reputation. A reputation that has taken a lifetime to establish. The internet and search engines should understand this and take steps that allow individuals and business owners to rectify any negative feed-back that was place on the web falsly.

  • GlobalITU says:

Let’s see, you can’t fire anyone anymore or they’ll blog about it and leave negative reviews all over the web. You practically can’t do anything with the human race and not expect it to show up on the web. And most of these sites know the information isn’t true yet they allow people to post it.

Something should not haunt you for 12 years a negative press release should have a shelve life

  • In my case, a competitor Cancun dentist decided to post anonymous slanderous comments of myself, describing me no less than a monster walking on earth.
My reputation has been SEVERELY damaged, I have lost thousands of dollars in Business. I am located in Cancun Mexico and there are no laws here to protect me, however I am looking that there are no laws in the United States either… So what to do? Sit down and wait? or pay thousands on reputation management services? So unfair!

    • Christi Harding says:

Interesting read, but what if the complaints and reviews are true wouldn’t it be in the best interest of the public to know about them. Especially concerning a persons health and well being. I think if a dentist has several well founded complaints regarding his/her practice then it is imperative that it not be hidden from the public .
I did read that Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry has numerous complaints and people have posted extensive photos, videos and reviews regarding the matter and links to a Canadian national news story that profiled the clinic after numerous dental tourists returned with botched dental work. I hardly got a competitor vibe off anything I read or watched.
So I agree it is awful for those that are innocent to receive bad reviews but for those that deserve them, I have no sympathy what soever.

      • Absolutely: there are definitely times when negative things posted online about a person or a business should be visible. Often it’s in the public’s best interest to know. The law broadly draws the line at truth: if something negative is true, it should stay up. If it’s false, it should come down.

        • Anonymous says:

And exactly who is going to decide what is true and what is false!!!!

        • "D Morse" says:

when in fact it’s perfectly legal for a ” court opinion ” over a verdict / decision ,can still be posted on the internet for anyone to see although the opinion will sometimes hold greater belief or value than the actual decision / verdict /outcome / etc.

Dr Robert Rawson – Online Scam Artist   One thing that we now know is that Scammers have their way with words. They know how to sweet talk their way into a business deal. Like what I’ve said, it’s okay to be doubtful especially because we are talking to someone we don’t know personally.Investment Scheme is also a very popular online scam. It is when promoters of fraudulent investment operate a particular scam for a short time, close down before they can be detected, and quickly spend the money they take in. This article will serve as a warning about a scam artist who was involved in a property investment scheme.Dr Robert Rawson (born 5/28/1969) like all Scammers tend to be friendly and nice which is a total opposite of his real character. He actually defrauded at least two people that I am aware of. He was involved in a real estate transaction where he stole from a foreign investor over $300,000 of money. Even though he already lied about multiple points in the deals, he was always clear about his intention of paying back the poor However at the same time he was sweet talking, he continued stealing money and transferred a property to his own name and sold it for profit.   Other investors he has scammed was about misrepresenting a sale. Don’t get caught up with his words because Robert also known as Rob Rawson is a very dangerous guy and he will take your money at the first opportunity. This is the kind of people we should be careful of. They are they reason why I made this blog. To be able to warn the people we love about the likes of Robert Rawson. • Michael Ambrow says:

I am actively looking for a new job and am I afraid some negative search results could be hurting my chances. After googling my name, the seventh result is from State of Michigan Court of Appeals. This result pertains to a person with the same name as me and their participation in a murder trail. There is also a few links to criminal record information about this person with blacked out mugshots. Since I live in Michigan and my resume does not actually have my date of birth, I fear I could be missing opportunities from employers who think this person is me. One of the biggest problems with this is that these criminal background websites, and state of Michigan websites, have such a high search ranking, it would be almost impossible to push them to the back of the results. Is there something I could submit to Google to have these pages removed from results or, at the very least, lowered in page ranking? I feel as though this is detrimental to my character.

    • Unfortunately Google won’t remove or push down content that isn’t about you. The best thing you can do is create more content to differentiate yourself, so that when potential employers Google you or your contact information, they find things you want them to find. That’s just one of the negatives of sharing a name with someone.

  • Phillip M says:

How can you get Google to close a Blogger account? A person decided to put up a joke blog on blogger which criticized every company in the industry. Every time you search for my company because of how big we have become from our hard work and good reputation, this stupid blog with swearing and using catchphrases such as scam come up. He has not logged into it since 2008. I have contacted Google so many times, and so have all the companies on the blog and they do nothing. I am even a paying customer to Google! I have put up with it for 5 years and I have no idea how much harm it has done. Maybe most logical people realize it is ridiculous but maybe not, as many people have written me that my company has bad reviews, referring to that one. Seriously what gives?

    • That’s an unfortunate situation. To get rid of the blog, you could hire a lawyer and get a court order that the postings about your company are defamatory (I’m assuming for example’s sake that they actually are, but they have to be statements of fact, not opinion, that are false and cause harm to your company’s reputation). Google deals with hundreds of thousands of cases like this and they do almost no management of old Blogger accounts, or “legacy” accounts, as they refer to them. If you get a court order, however, they’ll be compelled to remove the page.

Do media sources such as newspapers manipulate what is seen on search engines especially if it includes stories they published?

    • Pretty much anyone who publishes anything online does a few things to make it be found easier, like including relevant metatags and keywords. However, it’s the search engines that really control how they rank things. Google has a complicated algorithm for determining its search results, which includes things like how many visitors the site gets, how many other sites link to it, how often people share content from that site on social media, etc. Newspapers often rank highly in search results because they get a ton of visitors who are sharing their content. Their high rankings really stem from Internet users’ behavior, not their own.

Thanks for the reply. I have recently included newspaper stories that had been “hidden” on search results to my Linkedin and Zoominfo. I have noticed they have now moved closer to the front page. At first I thought the news source that printed a couple of negative stories were just trying to keep them in the outer realm of cyberspace but it seems more people are now reading these stories now. So I assume the more reads the higher the rank…is this correct? BTW thanks for this very helpful site!

  • Shad Drury says:

I have found, personally, that the best way to combat this issue is by simply humbling yourself in being up front and honest about whatever you are being accused of or have been found guilty for. For a long time I played on the wrong side of the law and made some terible decisions, but if you accept responsibility for your mistakes and do everything you can to change who you are – who you were will soon be forgotten.

While I respect the ideal of free speech, I would like to see reduced weighting for blog entries based on date, even during targeted search. For example, is it possible that all posts older than five years (based on crawled URL date) can be identified and phased out? These would remain live and could be linked, but will not come up as actual results due to age. Maybe Google’s emphasis on fresh content will take care of this point; however, my thinking is that to promote the phasing out of old items may preserve free speech, encourage fresh content, and spare the innocent (or now mature) person from continued risk due to old publicity.

This porn site has particularly disgusting pics and videos. There isn’t enough info on the site to identify webmaster,WHOIS function doesn’t help. I used the Google Removal Tool. So far no results and from what I hear it almost never works. My only alternative is to find a lawyer who could perhaps get Google to remove or de-index the site. Can you recommend a legal office that specializes in this kind of work? Hi Nicky,

You should first and foremost take a look into whether or not they have an opt-out policy for you to get it taken down. However, if you can’t, the best way to push down some results is to just publish more positive content about yourself that will push it down.

Google places is the most easy place to write negative/bad reviews on any business. Company owners always worry about this how to remove bad reviews from Google places. If you report to Google, they will not take immediate action against fraudulent reviews. So what is the solution for this? Only solution is to write positive reviews against that negative post. Request some more people to write positive reviews for particular product or company. Some other companies also can be hired for this regard. Galore Technology is another good company for ORM.

I have the same problem except with a dishonest trustee who is a family member. I appealed a ruling that wrongfully allowed her to hide assets and lost because she misrepresented facts to both court. Because of her fraud on the court I ended up losing and now the posting is always at the top of google search. I discovered the fraud after the time to appeal the ruling ran, so I am out of luck. The appellate decision makes me seem like a disgruntled beneficiary, when the reality is that my sister abused our mother to take over her estate. My mother intended to leave her estate equally between her three daughters but my two older sisters out of greed took everything (they cleaned out my mother’s house and left nothing behind)

After years of defending my mother and fighting against this injustice, I am left with court rulings making me out to be the “bad guy” as I had no funds left to hire the “right” attorneys.

The courts protect dishonest attorneys and their dishonest clients. There is no justice concerning elder abuse, the courts favor those in power (even though wrongfully, i.e., fraudulently gained). The law says no person should unduly profit from their wrongdoing but the plain truth is that the perpetrators prevail and the victims lose when the wrongdoers have the money to “bleed ’em dry.”

It’s a sad fact that the position of the California courts is that no one has standing to bring a lawsuit for elder abuse without financial gain to be had. In other words .elder abuse = profit

My correct Verizon assigned phone number (assigned in 2009) has been published by ZattaFact (a so-called online “white pages”) and circulated to other search or identity lists. ZattaFact is charging $5.99 to suppress Google search. It will not accept a correct link to a current Verizon white pages as verification. There is no other correction means offered. ZettaFact has a phone list that is from 2009 or as much as 22 years earlier indicating an prior holder of the number. I have alerted the BBB, MA AG,Verizon fraud, and the FTC all to no avail. There are numerous complaints against ZattaFact. It appears to have impacted political robo calls (I want these for candidate support events) in the current election cycle leading me to alert the local candidate and perhaps the federal powers. ZattaFact does not charge to suppress anything in Google’s search. They offer a service where they will submit a removal request to Google to have your listing dropped from Google. Only the owner or web master of a site can do that.

They do charge a fee for removal of your records, but they also have a free mail-in option

The editor has been told she won’t receive the details why the big company has removed the story from their site and so now all she has done to re-jig her story which makes for preposterous reading but, his name is still linked back and it appears on the first page if you search his name, near the top, so I am guessing she has her SEO right.

    The essence of our overall strategy (the meta-strategy) can be described in two main parts;

  • I have tried making positive content by using the negative keywords. And it has helped me big time. Well, I didn’t do it wholly on my own; rather I took help of professional online reputation management consultancy at the time of crisis and they helped me to revive my business over the internet. I have suggested its services to few friends of mine. And by the way, it is an article worth reading. Good job!

  • Your guide to push negative search results down helped me a lot, as one of my clients site reviews were written badly (Some of our competitor), I really appreciate you for posting useful information here.

  • Thanks for that..

    Awesome and insightful information share..

people thrive on the “dirt” they read on you “especially for a job ” also as a neighbor or spouse / boy-girl friend “as just a few examples . removing the negative data seems impossible …so just go with it “Fork it “for all it’s worth when a ” court opinion ” over a verdict / decision is made “justice will not have been served . so Guilty until proven innocent will always be Guilty simply because you were the one they Pointed their Finger at .

Thanks For the Information but i already do this but Did’nt push down the Negative link even a single rank.

  • Thel says:

I like all of the advice listed here. It seems that if “page hits” are what Google uses to rank pages, a good strategy would be to have a community of like minded individuals looking to improve their page hits to visit, share and comment on each other’s pages. Has anyone spearheaded anything like this?

    • GV says:

I think this is a brilliant, brilliant idea. How do we do it? Did anyone else reply to this? It seems like it makes a ton of sense.

  • You are correct and information provided is on your blog is worth to read.

hi here. just got on this link and i read through all the comments listed out here. i have once had a problem of mismatch identity where i happen to have my name posted on the internet for some DMV record i did everything possible to get it cleared off the, i even went to the law enforcement office but there wasnt anything done until i was introduced to this amazing guy spiralhulkspy@gmail.com who helped me take care of the record and i was able to get the job i was trying to take interview for which would have destroyed my opportunity of getting the job, thanks to hulk, he was introduced to me by a friend that i went to college with, he is well trusted.

Great advice. However, per your tips, I created google+ and twitter accounts and they don’t even show up on google search. So what am I doing wrong? Before I start to create more content about myself, it would be nice to see that the ones I’ve already created work at least! so why is it that twitter and google+ accounts / profiles I created don’t even show up on google search? Only my LinkedIn account / profile I created in 2009 is still there ranking highest. Pls advise.

    • Hi
      Don
I can understand yours problem. I would like to suggest you update yours profile with latest update day by day and spreed yours circle for that you need to add more friends on google+ and increases yours fan followings on twitter. Hope this will we increases yours account ranking on google search result.
      Thanks

(SIGHS)!! hello every one! my name is keith doughlas, well, i am simply not gonna say much but to briefly tell you of my encounter with HIGH PRIEST KWAMME a well known spell caster. i say well known because he was referred to me by a friend. my relationship was in shambles when i was helped by a friend. Actually I didn’t spell my wife but my FATHER-IN-LAW. yes, you read right! He opposed us just because of our social differences. i was a poor and helpless lad until my wife came. so because of my poor state, he forbid us from seeing each other. he never, not even once gave me a chance to prove my love for his daughter. that affected us a lot and it got to a point when my wife declared a brake up. i was shattered and useless. drinking became my soul mate and my bane at the same time. a friend opted for HIGH PRIEST KWAMME but i never took it seriously, he contacted the priest, after which he managed to convince me to follow it up which i did, the priest asked for a few details, and after three days, precisely as he promised, MY FATHER-IN-LAW called me, asked me to forgive him, and promised to support us. my hurting wife and i, were shocked. i knew the cause of the sudden change of mind, of cos!, all thanks to the PRIEST. (sighs) so friends online, i am here to fulfil my own end of the bargain with the priest which is to testify once i get the result of the spell. are you looking for a way in a predicament of any sort? HIGH PRIEST KWAMME is the only one i can vouch for cos he has done it for me! here is his outlook account we reached him with ( for the interested ones) : irrevocableoutcomes@outlook.com… thank you sir! once again…

  • The difficult thing with information online is that you have no control over it. As a reader you then don’t know what’s truth and what’s not. My question back to someone who mentions something they read online is, do you always believe everything you read?

  • Breshannon Devereaux says:

I had a negative time in my life, several years ago. Some information posted was accurate, others were not. In fact a “conviction” claim of one “crime” was COMPLETELY FALSIFIED, by a journalist. This man destroyed my life by printing half- truths “reported” by a vindictive ex-boyfriend. I lost my child, home, any way of renting a home or obtaining employment. I lived on the street, hand to mouth for a few years, before having to relocate over 3,000 miles away. Now, this old garbage keeps coming up. People associated with the man I am now involved with, threatened to kill me, dismember my body and drop off said parts among four states if I didn’t stop pursuing the relationship! What a way to be introduced to your new in-laws! I did survive it, but again, I’m having an impossible time obtaining housing. I have lived with my father for going on three years because of this! My life is a shadow of what it should be. ANDNOBODY CARES WHAT THE REAL STORY IS! My heart goes out to all wrongly accused, and those forced to plea to charges they never should’ve had to! Meanwhile, the malicious liars and scumbags go on, without punishment. SIGNED: GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT! NOJUSTICE, NO PEACE!

  • I don’t understand Step 4. How do you take back negative key words. How do you do that? Thanks

  • Although the ultimate criteria to evaluate any business initiative should be its return on investment or any other financial metrics in general, the evaluation criteria and metrics for the digital marketing campaigns can be discussed in more details. The criteria and metrics can be classified according to its type and time span. Regarding the type, we can either evaluate these campaigns “Quantitatively” or “Qualitatively”. Quantitative metrics may include “Sales Volume” and “Revenue Increase/Decrease”. While qualitative metrics may include the enhanced “Brand awareness, image and health” as well as the “relationship with the customers”.

  • The business model was genius but flawed by lack of content clean up. With 20 million Adult Americans having a difficult time finding work because of past legal problems those public records will never go away at the city, county, state, and federal level we all know that. With the mugshot sites they are irresponsible by posting only arrest records and not guilty pleas or conviction records, big difference there. There are many people who are oblivious that their information is even on these sites and there are many many more who have paid their debt to society or were not guilty. At what point do you continue to punish the criminal or the innocent for that matter? People make bad decisions all the time and they should not have to live with a dark cloud over their head the rest of their life, when they have made things right. Asking people to send in paperwork to prove their innocence, it’s just an auto response through their disclaimer program. I believe they lack as many morals and ethics as the people they put on those sites. I have written Anonymous to look into this. Lawyers, judges, States, Sheriff’s offices, they are all familiar with these attacks on people through their tabloids. This really has to be reviewed by a higher authority. If Annonymous won’t take down the sites then I respect their decision and we will have to continue to beseige the Web with deep linkingc content to burry the data.

  • All of this information seems quite useful. I’ll try it out and see if it works.

I Sean Gugerty a local resident of Arizona, would personally like to thank the author of this post because it is solid content! Well done! As a victim of harassment and online stalking due to the mugshot extortion industry, I highly recommend and endorse the accuracy of this author’s blog! Whether it was intended or not It literally in almost to T the majority of the time the order in which Google ranks social media content.

Sadly, As a result, professional slanderers and stalker’s are all to aware of the power wielded by Twitter. Initially starting at merely Google’s index, these non credible entities will use stop at nothing when challenged. From Fake “Parody” profiles on Twitter, to slander EDM (Exact Data Match) domains in the name of their victims. Twitter’s official claim and policy is a parody account is protected by the 1st Amendment of the constitution.

To the citizens of the United States of America I ask you this. When did it become acceptable for a “PRIVATE” citizen, defined as an individual in which isn’t a political power, or a public icon, to be robbed of their also Amended right of privacy?

Furthermore when did our 1st Amendment right, become a loophole to be utilized by criminals for the purpose of robbing millions of Americans given the same amended rights of their 4th amendment?

Again thank you for educating Americans, and delivering CONTENT! I extend an invitation to anyone and everyone that wishes to removed slander and defamation of any sort to visit my site and blog, that I develop , for the purpose of eradicating any form of financial gain, at the expense of shaming ANY AMERICAN!
