Tech Gives Back: Abine

Painting hopscotch

Last week, we took a day out of the office to volunteer at a local K-8 school in Somerville, Massachusetts. We were one of dozens of Boston tech companies—over a thousand people—who volunteered at 29 locations in the greater Boston area for Tech Gives Back, organized by the awesome organization Technology Underwriting Greater Good (TUGG).

We laid out and painted world and US maps, four square courts, and hopscotch, along with planting flower bulbs. Although we’re far more at home in front of computers, we were pretty happy with our results, and hearing the kids all yell “Thank you” at once was amazing. Check out some pics below:

Thanks for your pictures. They are great, so is your work, thanks for giving back.
Even though I don’t live in the area. I think that you have great hearts. Love it!

If your cell phone service states they protect you, do not believe them. I have a cell phone service that does not block calls. It also, has dropped over 800 calls. I have logged all of this in. I am on a contract, yet the company, I will not mention has advertised global calling, yet; in my own home in the USA; sometimes it does not work!!
